February BJP

For February I did two sections of flat peyote and then they were attached to the backing before adding the surrounding beads. When it came time to do the edge stitches for the peyote sections, I just wove a couple more rows in turquoise so those areas wrapped over the edge.

Oh you clever girl! That peyote weaving gives it the coolest look...makes me want to go get weaving...

this piece is very intriguing to me. it's very simplistic in its block design, yet it seems there is so much to see. the palette is just beautiful. i think it's great!

I love the look of these! So modern looking with great blocks of color. Your beading is neat in appearance. Well done! Analisa

This is wonderful! I've just started bead embroidery and beading in general, and love to look at pieces like this so I can improve myself. Your beading is so neat, while mine is so crowded. I think I just learned less is more. I love the rounded edges also! Can't wait to see next month!
