January 1st/2nd - Stone Page 2

The Goddess of Bead Embroidery was not at all pleased with my plans for the year. I went to bed on January 1st knowing how I wanted to proceed with my creative endeavors for the next twelve months. Everything was set and I was walking a golden path, all neat and orderly.

When I awoke on January 2nd I discovered the GBE had torn up my path, throwing down boulders in my way, forcing an entirely new direction for year.

I LOVE this! That GBE must be working overtime because the same thing is happening to me. I can only hope what I end up doing pleases me as much as yours does. Beautiful!

The beads always have a mind of their own. I have learned to listen to them rather than fight them. Your work is beautiful.

I love this also... I especially love the brown bead mix on the left..I'm doing a lot of birds and bark and love those colors..

Was that a mix you bought or a mix you assembled and what kind of beads are those? Do you have a name or source???

Thanks for your wonderful comments. In response to Gerry's question - I love to make up my own mixes of colors - just so much fun.

The new path is magnificent!!! Congratulations on allowing the GBE to guide you. So often we force ourselves to stick to our preconcieved ideas and don't go with the flow. WOW!

Listening has its advantages, as we can all see from your "new"piece.
