Road Work

I knitted these coasters while on our recent road trip. Not sure how many I knitted while driving through VT, NY, CT and part of PA when I thought for sure my fingers must be bleeding. I was using size 11 wooden needles with the sharpest points. In the photo some of the coasters have already been felted and a couple are beaded. The beading is slow going but really adds a nice finishing detail.

The array of colors is wonderful. Will you bead each of the coasters the same? What a wonderful addition these will be for your new home.

I couldn't see the beads but that is a great idea for coasters. What size yarn did you use? I've never done felting; this would be a great project to try it out on.
