BJP 2007

Last year Robin Atkins started Bead Journal Project 2007. 243 of us, from 13 countries, participated in this beading journey. We started stitching with the month of June and did one journal page per month. My pages, expect for August, reflect colors from my yard. After living in our home, here in central NH, for 31 years, we are now moving and will spend our summers in Old Orchard Beach, Maine (August page) and the winter months will be spent in Georgia. This year long project was very timely for me, in that the last page of the journal is May and it is also the final month that I will be living in this house. My star book is entitled "Farewell".

Beautiful wings and a great way to display them. Good luck in your new homes.

Your star book and butterfly wings are exquisite in every detail! Although the farewell part seems quite sad, butterflies are thought to be symbols of change, joy and color. You are foreshadowing all three, perhaps.

I do not know whether I was a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly dreaming I am a man. ~ Chuang-tzu

I love how you displayed your butterfly wings! It is most impressive and I've enjoyed seeing your wings as they took flight.

I love the way you can see so many wings at once. This is a great way to show them off.
