For BJP 2012 I will be making twelve Christmas ornaments. The basic shape is from a pattern by Paula Adams to which I will be changing color placement/embellishment. The ornament measures approximately 3" in length. I did have trouble identifying the step-up when it fell at a decrease. Guess the next ornament will have to address that issue. (beads - Delica, 3mm AB crystals)

That's really beautiful Denise. I keep thinking I should make artistic hand made ornaments for my tree. I can't wait to see the rest of them. Hopefully when they're all done well see a picture of them on your Christmas tree (hint, hint)
Great idea for a beading series! The ornament you have completed is amazing. What stitch did you use? I am also curious if you did sections and then attached them? Like Linda said, it would be awfully nice to see them altogether on your Christmas tree.

Beautiful, Dee!!!!! I'm very curious about the pattern... is it hollow? Yes, I can imagine confusion in step up when decreasing... but the ornament's shape is very pleasing, so you obviously did something right.
