April is in honor of my Mom, it being her birth month. The feature piece on this is her sorority pin. The crystals represent her birthstone which is diamond.

This piece honors my father-in-law whose birth month was March. The brass button in the center is from his military uniform. Bob Sr. served as a paratrooper during WWII.

Oh Dee D, these are just wonderful! I may have to run with your idea of using a small piece of beading to celebrate the births of important people in my life...
