This summer I've been busy knitting lace. As a birthday gift, I bought the book Knitted Lace of Estonia by Nancy Bush, along with a cone of Sea Island cotton which is from the West Indies. This is such a luxurious project to work on.

Lace Knitting

Earth Day 2009
For earth day 2009 I stitched up some reusable gift bags. First I lightly felted some wool yardage and then made the bags. Now for the fun part of decorating them. As you can see, one bag is finished with a bit of red knitted lace.
